The Trevisani Winery was founded in 1961 from a simple, courageous dream. Peppino Trevisani and his wife Ninì chose to leave their small-town life behind and move to a hill called "Il Galuzzo," a place suspended between heaven and earth, with views stretching all the way to the waters of Lake Garda.
Here, amidst silence, wind, and nature, our family's story begins. A story of hard work, the seasons, hands marked by the earth, and a profound love for the vine.
History and territory
It is precisely this seemingly poor land that yields vineyards capable of producing small amounts of grapes, but of extraordinary quality. Each bunch grows slowly, accompanied by the Garda sun and the wind that blows across the hillside every day.
The company now extends across approximately 6 hectares spread across the towns of Gavardo, Salò, and Puegnago del Garda, in the heart of the Garda morainic hills. These ancient lands, formed thousands of years ago by the slow retreat of glaciers, left behind a unique soil: sand, rocks, silt, and minerals, blended by time and nature.
Over the years, his sons Gian Pietro and Mauro have inherited their father Peppino's legacy, preserving his vision and continuing to follow his path of authenticity and character.
The vineyards thus host varieties such as Cabernet, Merlot, Rebo, and Chardonnay, chosen not to follow trends, but to best interpret the soul of this place.
At 365 meters above sea level, the winery thrives in harmony with its microclimate. The north wind blows through the vines even on the hottest summer days, bringing freshness and creating sharp temperature variations between day and night. It's a constant breath of nature that gives the wines elegance, intense aromas, and depth.
For us, wine isn't just production. It's memory, landscape, family. It's the story of a hill overlooking Lake Garda and of the people who, for over sixty years, have continued to live it every day with the same passion.

DUE QUERCE
Balì is a white wine obtained from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapes, it is one of our flagship products as well as one of the most appreciated.

Characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections, aromas of green apple , citrus fruits and white flowers , with a lively acidity and a persistent finish.

The name Balì derives from one of the winds of Lake Garda, coming from the Northwest, characterized by being unpredictable and intense.

Galuzzo Rosé is a brut rosé sparkling wine, obtained with Merlot and Rebo grapes
Characterized by small but very persistent bubbles, the characteristic Rosé color is given by a brief maceration of the grapes with their skins, from 6 to 12 hours.
On the palate it is fresh with a light acidity and notes of red fruits and cherries
The name derives from the location where the winery is located, a moraine hill called "galuzzo"

Galuzzo is a Brut white sparkling wine, obtained from Chardonnay grapes
The word Brut comes from French and means "pure, raw" and is characterised by a low sugar residue, from 6 to 12 g/L, giving it an intense, acidulous and fruity flavour.
The name derives from the location where the winery is located, a moraine hill called "Galuzzo"

Diana is a red wine obtained from Rebo grapes
Typical Trentino grape variety, a hybrid between Teroldego and Merlot, it grows on the hills of Lake Garda thanks to the microclimate of the lake
It has a deep ruby color with purple reflections.
It expresses aromas of ripe black fruits, cherry and sweet spices with balsamic notes, with soft but present tannins.
The name Diana is in honor of the owners' mother, Ninì, whose full name was Diana.

Sùer is a red wine obtained from Merlot grapes
It has an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections and offers a broad and soft bouquet, dominated by notes of ripe red fruit , hints of violet , sweet spices and chocolate , with soft and well- integrated tannins.
The name derives from Suer (or Péler), one of the most famous morning winds on Lake Garda. It blows regularly from north to south in the early hours of the morning. It is a cool and constant wind.

Due Querce is a red wine made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes
It has an intense ruby red colour, with violet reflections when young, which evolve towards garnet tones with ageing.
It is distinguished by a complex and powerful flavour, dominated by notes of black fruits such as blackcurrant, blackberry and plum , accompanied by hints of spices , black pepper , tobacco and hints of toasted wood and vanilla.
It has powerful but well-integrated tannins, and a long aromatic persistence, with a finish that recalls spices and ripe fruit.
The name comes from an intuition of Peppino Trevisani, when arriving at "Galuzzo" he found himself in front of a small clearing with two oak trees isolated from the rest of the forest in the center. When it came to naming the first wine he produced, he decided to pay homage to the land that welcomed him and his family.

BENÁCUS
Benacus is our reserve red wine obtained from Rebo grapes harvested in October, compared to the classic harvest in September
It has a ruby garnet color with orange reflections
It is characterised by a strong flavour, with a high alcohol content and an undissolved sugar content given by polyalcohols and extractive substances.
It has tannins softened by long aging making it pleasant and soft
The name derives from the Latin "Benacus", Benaco in Italian, with which the Romans referred to Lake Garda

WINE EXPERIENCE
For several years now, the doors of the Trevisani winery have been open to those who wish to experience wine as a tasting, as a story, or simply as a destination to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax in nature.
The experience begins slowly, among the rows of our vineyards, along the Galuzzo hill. Here, time seems to slow down: the wind rising from Lake Garda caresses the vines, the light changes color throughout the day, and your gaze is lost in one of the most evocative panoramas in the area, a nearly 200° view of southern Lake Garda in all its beauty.
Strolling through the vineyards, we tell our story, that of a family that has lived this land with respect and passion for generations, following the rhythm of the seasons, the harvests, and nature.
The tour then continues into the heart of the cellar, where the scent of wine accompanies every step. Here, we demonstrate the process that transforms grapes into wine: the silent work of fermentation, the time spent aging, the wait, the attention to every detail until bottling.
And it is precisely in this authentic and lived-in place that the tasting comes to life: a journey through the scents, colors, and emotions of our land. Each wine is described in its essence: the grapes from which it is born, the land that nourishes it, the climate that accompanies it, and the sensations it holds within each glass. It is accompanied by selected local products to complement our offerings.
Because, even before being wine, what we want to share is the way of experiencing this land, our land.
